HI, I am working for an Italian company and some of my drawings need to be in Italian. Trying to find a way we dont have to note things twice.. is there a way to make notes "annotative-ish" so that you can switch languages between viewports? Does anyone have experience with this?
(and yes.. I know its not really annotative.. just conceptually thinking about it)

In that way, I don't think so. You could make identical notes on two different layers, possibly -ENG and -ITA. Then just turn off the language you don't want to see in that viewport.

Is there an Italian Language Pack? There might be something in that pack that might help. Just guessing here.
Where's MattW when you need him? He works for Autodesk now.

But the real 6-million dollar question is do you get to go to Italy?? :woow:

No one who can write a script that duplicates a text object and translate it with Google Translate? :-)

For an "Engrish" VCR manual, no problem. For engineering drawings it might be better to get it properly translated and content-approved by the client prior to issue.

Probably not.. been to Minneapolis once.. and probably will get to Cincinnati at some point.
