Title: What's most efficient way to export 2018 C3D to 20XX Autocad
Post by: nobody on November 12, 2017, 02:12:42 AM
Anyone know better software or options to export 2018 Civil 3D to regular cad files? The built-in exports seem to either fail, crash, or leave "new objects" in the drawings for the users in our offices.

For us, (if exporting sheet plans). We usually Data Reference all of our 3D stuff in. XRef all the 2D Stuff.

We usually just use the menubar / File / Export / Export to AutoCAD / 2010 format...

If we have others that cannot open it. We open the exported 2010 to save down. This works for us usually.

one could even give ETransmit as a way to effectively export to autocad and leave the C3D objects out of the exported data
