I'm about to download Revit LT to play with for thirty days.
Out of curiosity, is there any data loss that occurs opening up a standard rvt file in LT?
Also, does Revit LT have the capability to export dwg plans?
I don't have any Revit experience, so I'm flying blind here, but essentially, if I'm able to open an rvt file and export dwg plans then I'd be a happy man.

Looks like you should be ok

Number one error on trial installs: don't assume re-installation will "fix" something in the program. That will usually reset the trial period to "expired", and you cannot restart the trial.

We recently published an article on our blog comparing these two. In case it's useful for future readers finding this thread: https://misobim.com/revit-lt-vs-revit-whats-the-real-deal/ (https://misobim.com/revit-lt-vs-revit-whats-the-real-deal/)
