Title: Turn off ALL Layers except for items selected.
Post by: dpenney on August 09, 2015, 11:38:17 PM
Is there a really quick way to turn off ALL Layers except for specific selected items (no matter what layers they are on)?

Sometimes I really need to quickly view/edit specific items or just one item but need some other specific items to still show for reference etc. and need to get rid of all else for a while.

Is there a lisp or command available for doing this?

Cheers.

also the IsolateObjects  command, which doesn't care about layers and can either Hide selected objects, or Hide everything other than what is selected.

LAYISO?

I just rechecked this and found through settings you don't need to just fade the other items, you CAN also turn them off....so all good. Which is exactly what I wanted as they were obscuring what i needed to see clearly.

Thx
