Post by: MSTG007 on April 29, 2005, 09:44:07 AM
Has anyone found a lisp program which is like autoturn from transoft which has turning radius's on a given path to see if a truck or car and turn into what ever you are designing?

I am having no luck and I am thinking about writing a lisp on it...

whats your opnions?

Start with pseudo-code. IOW, write down how you'd do it manually, then work it the automation of the code, but I'm sure you knew that.

This may not be as easy as it seems. Turning radius will vary depending on the type of vehicle. We would need a inventory of vehicles, their specifications and then figure out how to get it all together.

I was wondering about this as well as Autoturn is a little pricey...

This would be interesting though...
