Does anyone use these anymore?

Are they even necessary on 1/4" or 1/8" = 1'-0" scale plans?

Although in most instances it is advised to NOT SCALE most plans; yet people still do.

We haven't used them since we started using Revit. Our Civil department still uses them on every sheet, every job (except for detail sheets).
