Title: Working with Civil 3D Using COM and VS 2013
Post by: slingblade on May 24, 2015, 10:14:11 PM
Hi,

I am using Visual Studio 2013 and Civil 3D 2015.

I am trying to find the AeccAlignment object (Civil 3D). It used to be in AeccXLand and I made a COM reference in Visual Studio to access it. i have read and understand that now I have to browse to the install directory as COM libraries are no longer installed and that is fine. However I cannot see any dll's that look like they would be correct. I have googled and read as much as I can but I have not found how we use the COM libraries to work with with Civil 3D now.

BTW I am looking for the Autodesk.AECC.Interop.Land, Autodesk.AECC.Interop.UILand and Autodesk.AECC.Interop.UIBase namespaces.

Hi,

Don't worry unless its an easy answer, I have decided to port the program to run with native code instead of COM.
