Post by: Fabricio28 on March 30, 2015, 01:33:42 PM

I'm working at the paperspace. I've already created a viewport, and I wanna create other viewport.
But When set a new viewport I'm get stuck in the coordinate 0,0,0.

Help me, please!

Highlight it and look at the properties palette.

are LIMITS ON and Set?

is your OSNAP /GRID on and enabled thus causing you to snap to 0,0?

try draw rectangle first...then VPCLIP it into a viewport...

turn off or change settings for SNAP mode

at present your paper size is smaller than SNAP increment

thus your viewport appears to remain @ 0,0

it would work if you used

Command: MV MVIEW
Specify corner of viewport or [ON/OFF/Fit/Shadeplot/Lock/Object/Polygonal/Restore/LAyer/2/3/4] <Fit>:  Second thought probably NOT because SNAP increment is so LARGE

just turn off SNAP <F9>
