I kind of hoped for .net native or other way that will allow us to compile app in native code or .net 4.5 or higher and run in, for example, autocad 2013.
That would allow the use of normal, everyday code inside autocad that is usually several years late. For example, only Acad 2015 is .net 4.5...
I wander if that could be possible somehow.

Nevertheless, all of this is a good news, especially .net on linux, but we must see. I'm waiting to see how will .net run with nginx and with MariaDB :)
Bad news is that only a fraction of .net is going open source, that is - no WPF (I read that on some forum, do not know if this is the case)....
