Hi guys,
I'm trying to create a boundary, but isn't working properly.
I'm attaching a file example.
Thank in advance
-
I get no error
select object (polyline)
enter BOUNDARY command
pick internal point
I object is created (polyline) boundary
as I can not produce the error
I can not offer a solutuon
perhaps ensure your polyline is closed
and flattened
-
change your units. make the precision much larger.
-
as Mark points out, bump LUPREC to 4 or 5 and it works fine, I also discovered that even with lower values of LUPREC it will work (in this case) if you zoom into that corner.
-
I get no error
Did the new boundary polyline follow the little 'tick in the corner indicated or did it jump that corner???
-
it appeared to be correct....

Thank you guys for the quick replay
I've noticed if I zoom extend and create boundary in the center, didn't work.
But if I zoom windows where the boundary isn't work and create. It works perfect!
It is any bug in autocad?
I don't know what's wrong, I changed the units and didn't work.

Not the units, but the precision, the setvar is LUPREC setting it to 4 or 5 works here.
Apparently it is a rather new bug, I bumped the file back to 2002 and opened it in 2002 and it worked fine even with a low LUPREC setting. Another 'feature' perhaps??
