Title: Civil 3D 2014 .TIF in Rotated Views
Post by: BlackBox on August 21, 2014, 02:17:49 PM
I thought this was fixed back in 2011 & 2012, but I just noticed an issue today setting up a new plan set, that if one rotates view (model, or pviewport) using either DVIEW 'twist' or UCS/PLAN, the image is no longer displayed... Convert/Export the image to .JPG, .PNG, etc. (I have Raster Design), and image displays in any view.

Using Civil 3D 2014 SP2, Windows 8.1

huhm, not happening here.  C3d2014,  georeferenced tifs (DRGs from labins)

I can use dview tw in model space, or rotate the view in the ps viewport, or rotate the viewport. and no issue with the tif displaying.  makes no difference if RD is loaded, or not

I was using county provided aerials with world file.

The labins DRGs are tif, with world files, 8 bit color depth, packbit compression, placed using mapiinsert command.

doubt if color depth matters -- possibly compression type may?
