Metric (its so much easier to multiply and divide by 10 or 100!)
Why :?:
-
8 and drawing in the 21st century (metric !)
-
8 as well.
-
3 here. We don't have too many framing contractors with a metric tape in their tool belt around here. :D
-
The Big Cipher.
Imperial, like it should be. :lol:
-
DIMZIN = 0
I also work in tenths and hundredths only it's a foot not a meter.

OK, Thats enough of an idea.
The issue is to do with the DIMZIN value affecting the RTOS function output formatting.
With dimzin 8
( rtos 500.02 2 4)
==>> "500.02"
(kb:rtos 500.02 2 4)
==>> "500.0200"
(defun kb:rtos (fval xmode xprec / sval odz)
(setq odz (getvar "DIMZIN"))
(setvar "DIMZIN" 0)
(setq sval (rtos fval xmode xprec))
(setvar "DIMZIN" odz)
sval
)

oh,
.. and I work millimeters with DIMZIN at 8
