Title: Multiple block visibulity states
Post by: jumpy on November 29, 2013, 07:30:14 AM
Hi all, I've had a bit of a search online and have not found any information on altering the visibility state of multiple instances of the same block. Is this possible?

Eg. I have an electrical outlet with the following visibility states:

switched twin socket
unswitched twin socket
switched spur
unswitched spur
commando socket

If I have 10 instances of this dynamic block, and I select them and globally update their visibility states from, say, switched twin socket, to unswitched spur.

I was hoping for something with some similarity to the FIND command in its functionality (maybe too much to ask hehe).

I'm using LT here so there's no lisp.

I don't know if lookup tables would help or if LT can use them... plus they're unknown to me with dynamic blocks at this time.

Select the blocks, go to properties, there should be a property called "Visibility" change it to the desired state.

Done!
