Title: Is the “Blend for Visual Studio 2012” program work for somebody?
Post by: Andrey Bushman on December 24, 2012, 05:55:41 AM
Data:
Windows 7 x64 SP1 Ultimate;
Microsoft Visual Studio Premium 2012 Version 11.0.51106.01 Update 1;

Question:
Is the "Blend for Visual Studio 2012" program work for somebody? Don't confuse with the "Microsoft Expression Blend 4" program - it is another. It ain't working for me (maybe only for me???). My video here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kG3QFYjfBv4).

It is the same with mine. It seems that The Blend form VS2012 can open existing VS2012 Solution/project, but cannot create new solution/project, which makes Blend For VS2012 like a half-baked, unfinished product, but may make sense, considering that it may be integrated into VS2012 in VS2012 Update2 in near future, now that the entire "Expression xxx" designing suite as stand-alone tools are officially dead with Silverlight, WPF (well, they can still be used, if one insists).
