Title: Xref-ed Custom Linestypes have wrong text style
Post by: yarnstormer on November 29, 2012, 12:48:57 PM
I am working on a file with the title block xreffed in. The title block has custom linetypes in the legend - corresponding with the linetypes in the working file.

For some reason the linetypes in the title block are displaying with the text in TXT style vs the desired SIMPLEX style. I have opened the file and changed all of the lines to the correct layers, then made the lines bylayer. But they persist.
I have also reloaded the linestypes in both files.

If I edit the xref while in the working file, the linetypes will appear correctly but when I save they continue to display and plot with the TXT in the line. I'm attaching an image to show what I mean. Notice that the "W" in the lines for water are different.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

My guess is that the "SIMPLEX style" are not the same font in the xref & the drawing file.

hm..had already checked that but in checking again noticed that in addition to the drawing standard there was an additional "standard" style apparently created "by" the Xref and named "Xref drawing standard"

I changed the font for that text style to simplex and it's all better.

I don't remember creating that style...must have been to do with the Xref.

Thanks for your help!
