Title: linking array distance to dynamic radius
Post by: marcoblanco120 on March 30, 2012, 02:12:02 PM
Hi everyone,

I am trying to revise a dynamic block and am having a little trouble with an array.  Currently my dynamic tree symbol block uses a linear parameter and stretch to adjust the radius of the tree canopy (circle).  This works fine.

I would like to add a dynamic array that will allow an arrayed collection of tree canopy circles to just over lap each other at 0.9 x the current diameter value.  Problem is when I adjust the radius of the first symbol the array spacing doesn't not change and is not spaced properly.

Does anybody know how to have the array distance between objects dynamically controlled by the current radius value?

Thanks.

I've never used a dynamic array in a block before. Can you upload what you've got so we can play with it?
