Title: Regenerate section/elevation without dialogue box
Post by: Daniel J. Ellis on July 06, 2011, 08:19:20 AM
Does anybody know if there's a way to regenerate a 2D section/elevation from the command line in Architecture 2010.

We only tend to work on small houses (<1000sq.ft) and only model the external shell. Because of this we tend to have the model and all four elevations in the same file.

Currently to regenerate a section after adding something, you have to•select one of the elevations
•right-click, regenerate and ad dialogue box pops up
 •select "Reselect objects"
•select all parts of your model
 •OK to complete
 •repeat for each elevation
Using "Enter" to repeat previous command and "P" for previous selection speeds this up slightly, but not a great deal.

I would like to develop a lisp to streamline this. Ideally the routine would prompt to select the four elevations and select the model and then handle the rest.

Unfortunately I don't know of a way to get past the dialogue box - can anyone offer any suggestions?
