Title: Increase the Height of Texts in a Table
Post by: Coder on May 24, 2011, 04:16:36 PM
Hello everyone .

Is there any lisp routine that could increase the height of texts in a Table's cells ? or by Autocad command that I may do not know ?

Thank you.

Would changing the height of the text style (text style dialog box) being used in the cells be a viable option?

Thank you Matt .

That gonna set the text height at the first time I insert the table , and if the the whole table is looks small, I have to scale it to match
the drawing scale and in that time height won't be scale as well as the table .

I noticed also the table is locked when inserted by table command , why is that ?

Many thanks

What do you mean it's locked?  The layer that it's on is locked?

What version of AutoCAD?

The table cells are locked and if I want to edit the text inside I have to unlock the cell to be able to edit the text inside , and not the layer .

Cad version is 2009

Window over the locked cells and click on the 'Locking' button the toolbar, set it to 'Unlocked'.

Then just modify the text height for the relevant Table Style and the change will be reflected for all tables in the drawing using that style.

Thank you Lee.

You're right .

That's why I asked for a routine , I mean it is a very long time consumption and hard work to depend on mouse to click and to enter each cell .

Any thoughts ?

Appreciated.

Huh... I never knew you could lock the cells.

When you create a table, are the cells already locked??

Thanks Matt .

I got the Table cells locked when I import a file by the use of table command , which keep me shocked in front of it . :-o

You needn't enter each cell, click on the box to the top-left to select all the cells and unlock them all at once.
