Title: 2005 ADT Door modification question
Post by: Artisan on December 20, 2010, 09:47:57 AM
I'm working in 05 ADT and I am wanting to shade/hatch the inside of my door panels on the plan view. I've looked over the door style using the Style Manager, but I'm having a hard time locating the area where I can add hatch to the inside of the panel. Has anyone done this before?

Don't have ADT on this machine but is there a hatch property in the Display Properties area for the door panel object?

There is, and it already shows a hatch pattern listed but in plan view, there is no hatch there. That is what is throwing me off because I'm thinking it is location that I need to input hatch, but now I'm guessing since the current hatch isn't showing up on the plan view of the door.

In doing some research this morning, I found a posting over at the AutoDesk forumn where David Koch is saying there is not component for the plan view that allows you to hatch. He mentioned that you might be able to create a custom display block, which I already have done for our casing, and let the block be a line with a thick weight to it. I will give that a try and hope for the best. If you all have any other suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks again,
