Title: Custom Menu Load
Post by: ronjonp on December 01, 2003, 11:44:15 AM
How is a menu loaded when AutoCAD starts up? Can I do this in the acaddoc.lsp? I created a custom pulldown menu but frequently have to reload it using menuload.

I create my own custom menu then type in menuload in Autocad.
Under Menu Groups tab select browse, find your menu file, then hit Load. Then select Menu Bar tab and put your custom menu where you want it to appear. What I usually do then is close Autocad so it will save the configuration then restart it.

Guess it would help for me to read your entire post

I forgot to add, is it in your support file search path? Not sure why it won't save it when you load it through menuload. I haven't ran across that problem.  :(
