Title: CAD Standards Command in AutoCAD 2008
Post by: mrr_mobile on February 23, 2010, 02:44:39 PM
I was wondering if anyone knows which files are associated with the "STANDARDS" command and related commands in the CAD STANDARDS toolbar.

Thanks in advance.

You mean DWS files?  :?

No, I mean the files that make the commands function in AutoCAD.  Like the .arx or .dcl files, etc....

Let me know if you have anything....

Thanks!

I'm willing to bet that most of that is hard-coded (although I've been wrong before).  :ugly:

That's kind of what I was thinking, but I didn't know if there were some specific files that the programming called on.  It has to have a dcl box at least.

I am running AutoCAD LT and it does not have this function and using this function would really help me with some mundane tasks I am doing.  I suppose the same thing could be done with scripts, but the Standards checker would be beneficial in more ways than one.

Thanks

Good luck with that!  You'll have to pony up some coin if you want that feature.

(That's how they getcha!)
