Title: an easy way to move scans to job folder
Post by: ELOQUINTET on September 24, 2004, 01:26:26 PM
we often scan in the architectural floor plans and the it guy has setup a scanned files folder on the server. i then have to open this folder and move the file to it's job folder. as i usually do this right after i scan it is there a way i could click a button or run a lisp that would move the latest (maybe even the 2 or 3 most recent scans) and move it the the current folder. i was just thinking of the dirr lisp could this be modified to do such a thing or has anyone already done this?

This won't really help...I use Windows Find and do it manually.

HOWEVER, Keith wrote me up a SWEET little proggie to automatically insert our scanned drawings (*.GP4) into a new drawing in Acad at 0,0.  Works like a charm!
