Title: Prompting for hatch origin
Post by: whdjr on May 05, 2008, 02:01:33 PM
Does anyone know of a way to force the hatch command to prompt you for an origin with each use of the command?

-bhatch;o;\

this runs it in command line mode.
make a macro and add all the specifics for the pattern and scale you want and it makes a nice button macro for your hatch routines.

There's an "origin" option in the command line version, which I'm sure you could trigger with a macro or LISP...? Or combine it with the HPORIGIN variable...

for the few hatches i use, i just made a quick routine that will let me choose b/w the three hatches i use most (concrete, building, parking areas). then i can just pick the points it does all the hatching and layer placing for me (also sets the origin with the "pick point inside area to hatch"). it's all done through -hatch
