Title: 3D building services (HVAC) tutorials
Post by: hyposmurf on March 16, 2008, 02:27:30 PM
Anyone know where I can get 3D CAD tutorials that are related to building services equipment/systems?I realise I could do a basic 3D tutorial on any basic object but itd be really handy and inspiring to be modelling equipment that is related to my industry?

Would you be refering to lofts within buildings  :-) or the loft command? When I wrote building services I meant heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.

loft command is most particulary used for creating a solid with two differently shaped end pieces.

Think of a round-to-square reducer.  That's lofting a circle to a rectangle linearly.

:-) Yes thats the type of systems I'm looking at creating. Are you in the HVAC industry?Any idea whre I can attain HVAC 3D blocks?I'd like to have something to use while training. Not for use at work. Are all the components of that drawing created in MEP,just created with blocks from MEP?I've not used that software before.I would love to talk to someone in the same industry with knowledge of 3D HVAC creation. :-)
