Title: merging surfaces
Post by: drizzt on January 04, 2008, 11:53:29 AM
Allright...

I am using LDT 2007 with civil design added on. I have an extraction surface and an existing surface. Is there a way to merge the two surfaces to make one final surface?

Thank you in advance for your help

Terrain --> Edit Surface --> Paste Surface

If I remember correctly, the Paste function in Terrain Model Explorer only works if the areas are coincident.  In other words, if you survey a lot and create a surface, then do the same thing for the lot next door, you cannot paste those two surfaces together.  The surface you are pasting must cover an area that already exists in the surface you are pasting into.
