Title: Help with Autodesk Inventor 2008
Post by: REDHEADEDCHIMP on October 01, 2007, 11:02:33 AM
Well I am making a table in an .dwg. I got it to be almost all associative with the assembly table but i cant get a the qty of the parts in the assembly to show without manually putting it in the table. I put an screen capture that shows that in a parts list you can add a qty but in a table but i cant find a way in a table.

Why is it a .doc file?

The OP is trying to show what they have tried.  It's a pic of some of the dialog boxes for Inventor.

Oh, nothing against how you posted it, I just tend to be leary of things post in .doc files as they could have something sinister attached to them.  I usually see it posted at a .jpg, .gif., or .png files usually.  Not embedded into a .doc and the .doc posted.

Just a different way.

Actually this is one of the first times I had ever posted a question on a forum. That's why i posted it that way. Anyway did you have any ideas about my original problem.

I don't know how many people on here use Inventor, so you may have to wait awhile.

Sadly, since I haven't touched Inventor in 2 years... I've lost pretty much all specific knowledge I had other than the basics... like how to change the background of the modeling space to a neat green gradient
