Title: Autocad 2006 installing problem
Post by: AVCAD on August 10, 2007, 04:14:17 PM
I received a copy of 2006 from home office to test out new standards and code and what not before releasing company wide...

So i install it...and my AutoCAD 2004 goes hay wire and wont even start up now...2006 works but I cant use 2006 yet cause there is some company standard stuff (custom ofcourse) that was written using 2004 and doesnt work in 2006 yet...so i tried to reinstall 2004 and no that didnt work...

Is it possible to install 2004 and 2006 on the same machine and have both running fine? Cause in order for me to get 2004 to work again i had to uninstall 2006 and delete all autodesk directories and reinstall 2004

I really need to get 2006 installed but i cant get both running on the same cpu...anyone have this happen or know how to fix it?
