Has anyone written a vba routine yet to draw cabinetry w/ doors and drawers in Elevation view yet?
-
I did using lisp 8-)
-
Yeah, I 've got one for LISP too, but I was hoping to not have to re-write the wheel.
-
Well if it ain’t broke, fix it?
-
I mean no offense, and I'm not a vba purist....I just wanted to attempt to keep everything within the dvb file instead of having to load external routines.
Would you mind if I took a look at how you did your LISP routine?
Thanks

It’s probably not what you had in mind, It’s a kind of a big add-on geared for cabinet shops.
sorry I wasn't sure what you are after.

Hey Maters., could you possibly change the thread title to something a bit more descriptive so the search feature could catch it?
Something like "Drawing Cabinetry in Elevation"?
Thanks!
-
absolutely. done.

gee several years ago some guy was hawking a cabinet routine. Was that here or the "other" place??

He is looking for code to draw it for him.
The only guy I know that may have something your looking for, that may share some code, is using lisp. Sorry I cannot be more help.

Don't worry about it. I'll write it myself. I just didn't want to reinvent the wheel.
