Title: Exploding Multiple Groups
Post by: Big1968dog on May 20, 2004, 02:36:56 PM
I have alot of groups that have been erased. How can I explode the groups? I would like to explode more the one group at a time. Once you have erased a group, when you select the group it is grayed out and I would like to get rid of it from the list of grouped items. Purge will not work on groups.
TIA

Have you tried using CDG Purge 3.0? This little purge utility is a nessassary for AutoCAD (and all Autodesk products). It's free and has loads of useful feature. Give it a look.

A couple of programs come to mind.  I use SuperPurge (from Manusoft.com) to get rid of ALL the junk in a drawing.  I've also got an old lisp routine named XXPLODE that will explode everything down to the last little bit.
