yea it is - but can be kinda confusing too - and then its hard to pick a grip point if thery'e all suppressed.  You end up having to use the old method of establishing the base point later.  And can't use the spacebar to cycle through the actions because theres no grip you can highlight.

but its' not really a two edged sword.  I think this is just to take some load off the screen image rendering.  so it makes things faster by being dummer.
