Title: dgn to dwg en vice versa?
Post by: Amsterdammed on September 21, 2005, 04:18:34 AM
Hello folks,
From a poor collage of mine from a remote office here I got the question if there is a way to convert Microstation’s dgn format to dwg and vice versa. The costumer we have to deal with refuses to convert his dgn to dxf. Is there any peaceful solution?

Thanks in Advance

Bernd

I know Map will read a dgn. If you want to see the results give me a dgn file and I'll convert it when I get to work this morning.

Mark,

Thanks for the offer, but I don't know how many drawings there are involved and how many times this must be done. So I guess I need a solution my colleagues can do them self. I would never bother somebody here at the swamp to do our company's work.

Thanks,
Bernd
PS what is MAP??

Mark,
I couldn’t help checking on your Profile since I was sure you are Tampa located. Isn’t that a bad time to be online? Shouldn’t you be in Bed??

I wasn't planning on doing your companies work ( of course your work would be a different story ), I was just going to give you an idea of what the out come looked like.

Nah, I'm not a light sleeper. I've slept through I think . . . 3 hurricanes now.
