Title: VBA ENABLER ACAD 2013
Post by: Amsterdammed on April 30, 2014, 04:04:31 AM
Hello there, this might be the wrong forum, but i am in need so at least i try. Does anybody have a link to or the exe file of the VBA enabler for acad 2013? Seems that autodesk got into some VB dispute and now on their website this one is not available.

Thanks in advance!

Bernd

Unfortunately such would not be legal any-longer. AutoDesk no longer has authorization to distribute VBA6, they now only have VBA7 which is only compatible with ACad 2014 (I think that's a prerequisite from MicroSoft to encourage use of newer tools through enforcing distributers to only give out new stuff). I'm not sure, but I think this means even if you've already downloaded the enabler previously, it's not strictly legal to install it now. I might be wrong about this though, I've not seen ADesk's licensing agreement with Microsoft on this.

Anyhow, you can always do a search on "autocad 2013 vba enabler".

This does sound like a big problem though. If I had lots of VBA stuff, I'd be converting them to Lisp or DotNet ASAP.
