So I just got an email from Autodesk:
The AutoCAD 2011 & AutoCAD LT 2011 Update 2 Beta 1 are available for testing.
Please make sure to download and check the ReadMe file prior to the Update Beta installation or logging of feedback.
Any feedback should be logged in the "AutoCAD 2011 & AutoCAD LT 2011 Update" forum.
Thank you.
The AutoCAD Futures Team
wait.. wut.
Shouldn't that just be v2012 update 1, and not 2011, update 2? lol... I'm so confused.

I'm not. People complain that there haven't been enough fixes for previous products, now it looks like they are doing so. Could be related to some of the oldest products being built on technology they no longer support internally; if so, they could be doing more of these types of updates in the future.

I figured someone would chime in with that thought. However, I just don't see why they would, I guess. I figure the update/fix to 2011 is - 2012. I can see the benefits to fixing things in 'still supported' software, though, and even on subscription, they still support software up to 3 previous versions back.

Yeah? Who would that be?

*scratches head*
I just remembered hearing it before, several times, many different times and places.

Revit is released today, but before there wasn't a trace of it on the Autodesk site. :)

Just got my notice for Navisworks upgrade via subscription. Still not sure on the NDA release though, as I haven't seen a date for it.
