OK, I have a strange thing I am working on.
I have what amounts to a big point cloud defining a multifaceted 3d structure.
I need to get each facet and elevate it seperately.
I also need to determine the angle that these facets come together so I can figure the miter angle.
Every facet is unique, some are 3 sided, some are four, and all the angles are unique.
Any hints on a quick way to do this? Its not hard, but its very tedious.

why are you 'elevating' them separately?
to determine angles...I would build model...and then establish various viewports set to the UCS as defined by where the planes meet..and then measure that angle through the viewport...
perhaps I would need to see your data set....to offer anything else...

no thats about it, and I am going to elevate each facet that way, its just still a pain, LOL.

I missed this one :( Modeling/3d in Autocad is about the only thing I feel I can contribute to this forum :-D
You still facing this one, or have you jumped this hurdle?

Pretty well jumped it, then they told me the design is going to change, so its all moot for now anyway, LOL
