Title: Bind X-refs in 2009
Post by: kc27315 on July 31, 2008, 03:07:02 PM
I'm using civil 3d 2009, and I am trying to bind several x-refs.  I cannot seem to bind the x-refs without having to type in the name of the x-refs to bind.  Does anyone know how to bind x-refs in 2009 without having to type the name of the x-ref?

When I want to bind one I open the xref manager > select the file(s) to bind > right-click > bind

I know the question was binding XREFA. My question is why?
Why not just eTransmit the files to them as is, and not jank the data structure around at all?
If you are using relative paths for your XREFS this should be near seemless.

jank? That's a new word for me. Is that the southwestern term for someone who lives in Seattle or something?

Carefull....or you will have us both needing to apologize to Jessie Jackson, and or Oprah, or both!

However to take that Blaxsploitation a little further one would have a pretty funny marketing campaign.

After several tries, I seem to only be able to bind certain file types.  I can bind some by right-clicking and choose bind in the x-ref manager.  I'm inexperienced with x-refs, so I still struggle a bit.  Thanks so much for your help.
