Title: Keyboard shortcuts = autocorrect?
Post by: yarnstormer on August 24, 2015, 10:00:22 AM
You know how you can set shortcuts in your phone keyboard to automatically correct certain words or recognize shortcuts?  I use mine to correct the words that I frequently mis-text.

Can I do something like that for my desktop keyboard? In windows? In autocad? In mtext?
Not sure I want full on autocorrect running...

one more time typing "interesection" and I will lose it.

Not with the default (built-in) editor I don't believe. If you use your editor on the other hand; I'm sure whatever you use has that ability.

On that note, I believer CAB had a tool he wrote that allowed you to have a set of pre-setup text notes you can choose from. I will try and find it and post back here for you.

type your notes in anything else that will at lest highlight your misspellings

even using The Swamp post message option will highlight the errors, you can chose to ignore or correct....

turn on SpellChecking in MText.  at least it will underline typos
