( LDD ) Text and Dimension Styles

Text and Dimension styles are a confusing mess in Land Desktop.  I'm sure everyone has run into that "Dimension Override" issue when using Land Desktop...   :-o

I put together an article explaining the mess, for anyone trying to fight through it.

Nice job!

I was just going through all of this with a user on Tuesday.

Thanks.  Let me know if I missed anything.

I hadn't conciously realized how terrible Text and Dimstyles are in Land Desktop, until I wrote that article, and was forced to actually lay it all down on paper...   :-D

Thanks sinc, I knew all of that was happening under the surface because I could see the resulting mess created, but I never knew the "why" or "how".  This reinforces my determination to purge all vestige of LDT from my computer as soon as possible . . . a determination that has wavered over the last week after having two installs of Civil 3D go south on my machine for no apparent reason over a seven day span.
