Topic: Lost keyboard function

so weird....

after about 5 minutes of working (that's my max at a time) I occasionally lose my keyboard....

ok I've been gone awhile, so ahead
yes I checked the desk drawers, under the desk, key hanger,  not in the frig, the house or the truck....


I will hit the space bar to repeat a command and no keystrokes show in the command line, no response, buttons work. The only fix seems to be close/open again

Did a google. My prob is all keys, not just the F keys. No short cuts. C3D 2016, but I dont think its any diff than Acad 2016 (?). Laptop so not a cable, (I'm typing now)

and this ONLY happens while working in autocad?

shorten your work period; to say only 3 minutes


Have you tested that it isn't just happening all the time, in any application?

yes I lose the keyboard only w Acad

only time will tell, I'm guessing this is not a common issue, may be back in a few
