(Microstation) Patterning/Filling

There could be a particularly easy fix for this and MS is just bugging me for no reason (surprise surprise)

But I cant solid hatch a selected area.....Does MS have this function?? hatch, crosshatch...but no solid.  :pissed:

MS does have this ability :-)

You'll need to set the filltype to solid via the change attributes (see piccy below)

Yeah for elements thats perfect, but I'm trying to hatch an area (namely a lane of a road)

So I need to pick a point inside, it will find the area and flood it with solid.

This did work, I had to define the region first and then use the active fill type command.
