Details to paper or electronic
« on: March 03, 2005, 09:23:07 PM »
I have over 400 details. I am asking is it worth to print all the details out and place them in a binder.. kinda hard to update... or is there an electiconic way to do it...

Where an engineer or who ever can type a search or browse the details...

I dont know... just trying to loose the paper method...

any thoughts?
thanks!

Have you considered printing them all to PDF? They could all sit up on your network and / or be printed on demand, independent of AuotCAD.

or maybe you could index a directory of drawings using drawing searcher which would  make them searchable and printable without autocad
