Does anyone know if Acad 2005 is compatable with windown nt? Are there any known issues between the two?

It is definitely not supported by Autodesk and I doubt it would even run.  IF it did run you would be lucky (or cursed :shock: ), but why would you want too?

I believe that Windows XP is Based from Windows NT and I don't see why it wouldn't work.  If you have time I would just give a shot to see if it works.  I have seen it running on a windows 2000 machine

We had win 2K pro here for a while and ACAD 2K4 ran on it just fine.  Took me a long time to accept XP.  Would rather have stayed with 2K pro but too many new apps are written for XPnow sooooo......

I don't see what the problem is here. You should go out, buy all new hardware in order to support Windows XP (you might want to really beef it up in anticipation of the Longhorn release), purchase a bunch of seats of Windows XP, then go out and buy all new versions of AutoCAD.

What's the problem? If you have 10 stations to upgrade that shouldn't run you much more than about $50,000.00 (US) or so.

Hey, it's the cost of doing business. That should give you a nice warm feeling inside. I know because CADaver told me so.
