Title: Ratzl fratzl ding dang AutoCAD plot file!!!!
Post by: Keith™ on February 20, 2015, 06:09:25 PM
Now that I have been working in AutoCAD for the last week or so, I am just a bit confused as to why the developers thought to have a check box for "Automatically save plot and publish log" that doesn't do anything ... oh, no ... the plot log gets created even if this box is unchecked.

If you really want to stop having all of those stupid plot files show up in the last used folder, you have to disable the plot log in the plot stamp settings, even though you don't have plot stamps enabled ... and then it is cleverly hidden .. click the plot stamp setting dialog (even though you have plot stamps turned off), but it isn't there!!!! Oh, no, you have to then click the "Advanced" button ... and voila ... there it is ..."Create a log file"

Now why didn't I think of putting that there .. oh yeah ... because its STUPID ...

OK, I feel marginally better now ...
