Anyone know how to import an image with a jpw world file?

OPen the jfw with note pad and sii if it has some thing similar to this in it:

If the world file is ok and in the same folder as the jpg.  Go to Map->Image->Insert.  It should read the world file and insert the image correctly.  I usually only use MrSID and Tiff fille though.  Check the units also, and let me know if I missed something.

as stated by the other guys. that file is a world file for use with the geo-referenced tiff or jgp image. we use

RASTER DESIGN to work with our aerial images and ortho-rectified files.

acad MAP may not place it in the correct location.

give it a try

Make sure you jpeg and your world file are named the same and in the same directory.
