acadApp.SetSystemVariable("DBLCLKEDIT", 0); works to set it, but it doesn't stop the double clicking manually or w/ code.
I think you have it Kerry, at work we use mech 2010 but use it as vanilla, at home I am using some of the mechanical part.
I deleted xline in the cui, dblclick part and now I get "ampoweredit"which is a mystery
