did all interested parties know that AUGI is running their annual salary survey right now?
Submit responses (anonymously, but, you have to be a member and logged in to Submit) and initial results will be published in the Jan/Feb issue of AUGIWorld, with more to follow on the website.

Assuming previous posters in here saw last year's results and FAQ.

The survey ends on October 31st, only a few days left, please participate.

I take questions/suggestions on the survey year-round at salarysurvey@augi.com (if yahoo email is blocked on your client, my replies could go straight to the dumpster)... of course, please read the FAQ before contacting me, pretty pretty PLEASE. ;) It's pretty much the same questions over and over again.

 good vibes and raises for all!

Randy, if I ever have the occasion to move to the area, I will take you up on your offer.

Right now we're looking for
Civil/Structural designers (with PDS) 10-20 years experience can get you $30 - $45
Piping designers (PDS experience)  10-20 years experience can get you $35 - $50
Electrical/Instrument Designers (InTools experience) 10-20 years experience can get you $35 - $55
PDS administrators  10-15 years PDS experience can get you $50+

Positions are direct with insurance, paid holidays, vacations, etc.

And we're not the only houses looking for help.  The last estimate we heard was that SouthEast Texas is short roughly 350 designers, and Houston area is short around 500 designers in all disciplines.

What about Civil/Structural designers (without PDS) 10-20 years experience?
