AEC Block Dimensions (Architecture 2014)
« on: November 18, 2013, 12:07:29 AM »
Hey guys, long time...

Back when I was doing drafting, I wrote a hellofa lot of LISP functions to make life easier for me and my brother in ADT2007. I left and have been out of the biz since around 2009.  He's just upgraded to Architecture 2014 and we migrated all the LISP over and pretty much everything works except a routine that gets the width of an AEC Door to insert in a block.

I'm looking back at my old code and while it's slowly coming back to me, I'm all but lost. I'm having problems finding AEC block attributes. In ADT2007, the block had an attribute of 40 that had the width of the door in inches. Now I can't find the dimension of the block anywhere. I notice that it says it's an AcDbEntity. Are they storing that information in a database now? (Did they before and I didn't realize it?)

Also is there an AutoLISP reference for 2014 specifically? I kinda need to refresh my skills.

Don't have access to that ACAD but perhaps they moved the data into xData ILO attributes.
If you post a DWG with that block in it maybe someone here can dig into it.
