field justification issue
« on: January 03, 2007, 10:21:39 AM »
Has anyone had problems with fields that are xreffed into another drawing not retain their justification? We use the CTAB field for sheet numbers that is inserted onto a titleblock which is then xref into another drawing.

Bottom right justification in titleblock drawing:

Titleblock xref into paperspace and field shifts right?

I've seen that.  I do the same thing here.  99.9% of the time it works.  I've seen it happen to only 1 sheet in a drawing with multiple tabs.  I couldn't figure it out so I had to fudge that one sheet.

If you find out what's making it do that, please post back.

Might it have something to do with styles? IE the style with the same name is designated in the second drawing with a different alignment/justification?

I don't think you can assign the justification in the style? I did compare the two styles and the width factor differed in the stylename. I made them the same but no results. :realmad:
