I had a problem here where some items would plot wierd lineweights and as it turned out, the guy doing the drawings had applied a lineweight of 0.09 to a single mtext object, then proceeded to match properties with that as the base.
Perhaps you have a similar problem...

Have you tried creating a new drawing from scratch to see if this occurs as well?

This is a really weird problem!  All I can suggest now would be to try reinstalling the printer.

Did you try copying all of the font files from your co-worker's computer to yours by any chance?

yes..... But it only occurs when I use that text style.... TEXT100.

I did both windows and AutoCAD font styles from the other computer with no luck.....
