Reactors - Open and Close - Layer Colors
« on: March 03, 2016, 10:36:39 AM »
I have been looking around. I found bits and pieces. This kinda ties back to the background screen. Is there a reactor that once a drawing is opened, it can look for layer 1 layer 2 layer 3 etc, and change the colors to lets say green or something. Then once you close the drawing it will switch back to the original colors?

From what I remember; persistent reactors can cause drawings problems. Why not just use the AcadDoc.lsp (why set back at all)?

Most users here use different backgrounds. I would just like to see some of the layers and manually changing them when I get into the files and then changing them back to our standard colors when exiting.

I am thinking about a script, which I could use with a button macro. but I have to remember to hit it a lot.

A macro isn't a reactor (a reactor is something entirely different).

However, if you just want a function to load up layer settings and what-not, here is something you may be interested in then (another old routine of mine).

Hey thanks for sharing. I will check that out. Yes you are right about the macro. I was just saying that for an idea.
