I can't find the post on this but...

is that STR command from the PGP or a lisp function??

If its a lisp function there maybe some other issue at play, like a blown autoload.

2015 is a monster with latency. A few times a day I'll type DIV for divide and get distance (DI) or CO for copy and get circle  :x

It's not a lisp function, it was the stretch command. I am having the same issue as ChrisCarlson.  I posted because I finally remembered to get an example of it. I'm on 2014 though.

Spinny drive or SSD on your computer? I have not noticed any lag in the command line on 2015 ( or 2014). Could it be antivirus?

hmmm.. try this:

Set AUTOCOMPLETEMODE to 5 or 0

or

Play with AUTOCOMPLETEDELAY to increase or decrease the auto-complete timing.

You can also mess with INPUTSEARCHOPTIONS

Looks like autocompletemode and inputsearch options are the same thing except one is a menu and the other is a window. I am adjusting the delay. Thanks guys!

So far no issues.  :-) I cut the delay time in half.

Spiny drive, not slated for new hardware yet.  Tweaked the settings you and CADaver posted, original was 300ms cut it down to 100ms, seems to be much better so far.

Scratch that, 100ms made it worse. Bumped it up to 1000 (1s) per http://autodesk.blogs.com/between_the_lines/2013/07/autocad-tip-disable-or-delay-autocomplete.html
